Since our founding in 1996, UCP Wheels for Humanity has remained committed to protecting the privacy rights of all our donors, including visitors to our website.

We will not sell, trade or share personal or contact information with anyone else, except where required by law; all personal information, including credit card, debit card and check information, collected via phone, online forms or pledge forms will be securely stored or destroyed.

Currently, UCP Wheels for Humanity uses PAY PAL for all on-line donation processing.

In addition to our donors, we hold ourselves transparent and accountable to private and government donors, to public agencies charged with legal oversight, to the partnering organizations assisting in the distribution and individualized seating of our wheelchairs, and to those recipients whom we serve.

Internal and external audits and evaluations are conducted annually to ensure efficient and effective use of resources. Audited statements are available and can be requested by contacting the UCP Wheels for Humanity office at (818) 255-0100.

When you visit the UCP Wheels for Humanity website or donate by telephone or mail and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with UCP Wheels for Humanity alone. Our organization may collect information from donors and those interested in our work including: name, address, credit card and other information volunteered by you such as email address and telephone. We may also monitor and track information such as visitor usage patterns of our website using standard tracking software. We DO NOT share or sell donor information.

UCP Wheels for Humanity uses information we collect about you to be able to send you communications such as e-newsletter, various printed publications or email appeals, and to help administer and improve our website.

Email updates provide an opportunity for us to report to donors on the progress of our work in a quick and efficient manner. It is extremely important to us that donors are acknowledged as quickly as possible, feel connected to our mission and are updated on relevant and timely information regarding our organization.

We do not share your name with any other organization, individual or company. However, to appropriately acknowledge our family of donors, UCP Wheels for Humanity does send out direct mail pieces, newsletters, annual reports and donor acknowledgement letters periodically. You may choose to be removed from our mailing list at anytime simply by calling 818 255-0100, by emailing our director of development Brian Miller at bmiller@ucpwfh.org or by "opting out" through the IFanz system and asking to be removed.
