THE AMERICAN FLAG:
UCP WHEELS & AMERICAN HUMANITY

Did you know that UCP Wheels for Humanity attaches an American flag sticker to each of its wheelchairs donated throughout the world?

Our flag is more than our nation's most widely recognized and used symbols - it represents the compassion and humanity of the American people.

The flag also symbolizes our desire to enrich the lives of people with disabilities in countries that continue to develop politically, socially and economically.

Most importantly, it represents the generosity and compassion of the people of the United States who have supported our organization.

According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the United States is the world's most charitable country - giving the most money to help the needy of our society and others, either through public donations, private donations, or both. The United States reached a record high of $306.39 billion in charitable contributions in 2007.

With each distribution we hope to increase the positive international reputation of our country. Our wheelchair distributions continue to build lasting and mutually enriching relationships with international partners and the people living in developing communities throughout the world. UCP Wheels for Humanity is proud to represent the good will of American-based non-profit organizations through our international work.
