Volunteer drivers work throughout California picking up wheelchairs and other ambulatory equipment.  Depending on your location volunteers can usually pick-up wheelchairs within 10 business days from the original request.  UCP Wheels also utilizes the generosity of FedEx Freight West to make large pick-ups of wheelchairs throughout Western US.  If you would like to donate a wheelchair and you are outside of Western US, please look at our resource page to find alternative options.   

UCP Wheels for Humanity accepts the following equipment:

• Manual Wheelchairs (all types)
• Power Wheelchairs (only in running condition)
• Crutches
• Walkers
• Commodes
• Bath Chairs
• Physical Therapy Equipment

Insurance liability prohibits UCP Wheels for Humanity from donating refurbished wheelchairs within the United States.
